Alkinoos Ioannidis plays and sings his songs alone on stage in their most simple form, taking us to the moment of their creation. Following a tradition of centuries, the tradition of balladeers, he travels with a guitar or a lute and shares emotions, thoughts, experiences, dreams and realities that concern us all.
A set-list for listening but also for participating, which takes us through his strains and his silence to the core of this sacred form of art. The songs themselves take the lead. They stand bare and vulnerable in front of us, as they were created, but stronger than ever. Listening to them we experience the cancellation of distance, the magic of coexistence and the shift of aloneness to collectivity.
